Back from Holidays

So I just came back from Sylt, where I had 2 weeks full of enjoyment, internet-free-time, and a lot of sun. Because of the Internet-free-time i obviously wasn't able to post anything new on here.

So what happened in the terms of TV-Shows? I actually don't know - got a lot of catch up to do, but expect the usual fresh stuff on here soon again.

By the way: I started watching Glee (I was too angry about Murphy for letting Nip/Tuck go, so I just couldn't bare watching Glee so far)  and I actually liked it. Any more gleeks out here?

Cuddy is leaving House

Lisa Edelstein, the actress who plays Cuddy on House, MD, just tweeted that she wont return for next season (which supposedly is going to be the last one)

While executives at NBC and FOX declined to comment, Lisa tweeted

“After much consideration, I am moving onward with a combination of disappointment at leaving behind a character I have loved playing for seven years and excitement of the new opportunities in acting and producing that lie ahead.”

Did they left Season 5 out of purpose? No mention whatsoever of Lumen or Jordan Chase.

Is Hugh Laurie leaving House, MD ?

House MD fans may shed a tear as Hugh Laurie, who plays the infamous Dr. House, is set to leave after Season 8 of the award winning drama. As he told the "Radio Times", it looks like the full episode season 8 of 'House' is going to be the last one - atleast for him. I honestly don't think that FOX would keep the show running without Greg, so 2012 is probably the last time we are going to see new episodes of House MD.

Personally, I haven't shed a tear so far. House got pretty stale for the last three seasons and while I still watch it regularly - I also wouldn't miss it much. Compared to the first three seasons, it just turned way too much into a soap opera and less into a thrilling medical drama.
